The genus Phormidium_A (d__Bacteria; p__Cyanobacteriota; c__Cyanobacteriia; o__Cyanobacteriales; f__Geitlerinemaceae) has been renamed as Sodalinema in R08-RS214 following manual curation. This change has caused confusion and has been reported as highly undesirable, given the current status of cyanobacterial taxonomy, which is undergoing major reclassifications that have yet to be settled. Therefore, we encourage users to use g__Phormidium_A instead of g__Sodalinema when referring to this taxon.
